Ryan will be aligned with Riviera’s Public practice and will leverage his deep experience in tech recruiting and extensive network of public and private equity clients.
Ryan began his career at Heidrick & Struggles in their Global Technology Practice during the dynamic dot-com bubble era. His passion for the global political economy and strategic problem-solving led him to pursue an advanced degree in international relations. Even as a grad student, Ryan’s talent for recruitment shone through, leading to the launch of a successful search boutique focused on policy and public affairs in Washington, DC. This role provided Ryan with a front-row seat to the innovation shaping the healthcare and tech sectors.
Inspired by the tech boom, Ryan moved to Silicon Valley, where he led a tech boutique that scaled 10x, driven by the transformative power of cloud computing. His deep appreciation for high-quality search work, global clientele, and world-class colleagues flourished during his tenure at Calibre One. There, Ryan specialized in transformational searches for companies embracing new technologies, and he led their Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence practice.
Ryan’s track record includes landmark placements including building a digital business for a Fortune 500 life sciences company and reorganizing the executive team for a high-profile mid-sized data platform company. Ryan has focused on C-level executive searches and their direct reports in product, engineering, and sales. His robust portfolio includes enterprise SaaS, life sciences, IoT, and industrial technology sectors.
