Junior Software Project Manager
Location: San Francisco Bay Area

We are a rapidly expanding company with a dynamic and collaborative culture. We seek a highly motivated and organized Project Manager to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of product initiatives by providing project management support and ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams.
Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
- Manage the day-to-day logistics of product development projects, including scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and managing project documentation.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication and decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
Agile Methodology:
- Support the implementation and adherence to Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Assist in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Manage project backlogs and ensure timely completion of sprint goals.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Track project progress and generate reports on key metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts).
- Analyze project data to identify areas for improvement and optimize project workflows.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, design, marketing) to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a strong preference for experience within a product development environment.
- Proven experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in Jira project management software.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
