The past few weeks have been an unimaginably painful time in our country and around the world. We have borne witness to the brutal and senseless killings of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and George Floyd, the latest in a list of countless atrocities committed against Black Americans. We, like you, are distraught, angry and filled with sadness.
We acknowledge the systemic, institutional racism and structural problems that are pervasive in our society, law enforcement and the criminal justice system, employment and equal access to economic opportunity, education system, housing system, and healthcare. We at Riviera stand in solidarity with Black Americans and all people of color in the fight against racial, social and economic injustice.
