Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

As part of the Data Science team, the Sr. Machine Learning Engineer will help optimize Riviera's Recruiting Platform by building and deploying machine learning models to further improve recruiting efficiency. It’s an opportunity to work with unique propriety data to build innovative business solutions while thriving in an environment with minimal oversight and maximum independence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leverage rich historical recruitment data to build models that will optimize user experience and improve efficiency
  • Closely work with the Product team and recruiters to prioritize business needs, and come up with innovative solutions
  • Build and deploy custom algorithms and models
  • Analyze and monitor deployed models to validate their performance  
  • Help maintain a bug-free codebase by writing simple and maintainable code, and reviewing code for team members 
  • Streamline data transformation and featurization pipelines for faster model turnaround times 

Requirements:

Educational requirements:

  • BS (CS, Data Science or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience
  • BS + Data Science Certification with 4+ years of experience
  • MS (CS, Data Science) with 3+ years of experience
  • PhD with 2+ years of experience

Technology and languages:

  • Python (must have). Minimum level of SQL proficiency
  • Used scikit-learn (or) XGBoost. TensorFlow/pyTorch is a plus
  • AWS (or other cloud) infrastructure knowledge is a big plus
