What you will do:

Riviera Partners is seeking an Analyst to join our new Learning and Development team. In this role, you will help create and curate learning assets that incorporate fundamental principles from learning innovation and instructional design methodologies for all Riviera Partners employees.  Using talent development best practices, you will apply what you know about learning theories, principles of adult learning, and cognitive science to develop and deliver assets that maximize outcomes.  This is a support role reporting to the L&D Manager.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Design and develop Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) programs and materials to include slide decks, participant guides, facilitator guides, and ancillary materials. 
  • Support delivery of training programs through co-facilitation and technical production.
  • Participate in assigned or designated corporate-wide initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Internal Recruitment team to ensure seamless integration of new hire training to the employee experience.
  • Evaluate 3rd party e-Learning courses and content for quality and alignment with organizational philosophy.
  • Ability to work with subject matter experts to collect and understand best practice.  

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) plus 3-5 years of experience
  • A high degree of organization and the ability to work well collaboratively
  • Knowledge of and passion for instructional design models, processes, and modalities.
  • Knowledge of criteria used to assess the quality and relevance of instructional content in relation to desired learning or behavioral outcome
  • Skill in identifying the type and amount of information needed to support talent development activities
  • Skill in developing, managing, facilitating, and supporting knowledge networks and communities of practice
  • Skill in developing and curating learning assets and events that are ethical and free of bias
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to remain highly productive in a fast-changing environment where priorities shift 
  • A demonstrable sense of urgency and strong work ethic
