What you will do:

Riviera Partners is seeking an Associate to join our Partnerships & Business Development team. In this role, you will help establish new and strengthen existing partnerships (primarily PE and VC firms) in North America and Europe, while supporting Business Development activities resulting from these channels. This is a support role with the opportunity to grow into overseeing a portfolio of partnerships. You will help identify, research, map and engage prospects, drive reporting activities for partners, and work in collaboration with teammates across Rivi to systematize BD workflows and processes.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Map PE/VC prospect and partner firms to identify potential champions
  • Own quarterly reporting and ad hoc BD requests (e.g. partner updates, performing analyses)
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop impactful content, events, and campaigns from idea to execution
  • Contribute to team pipeline review meetings and help maintain pristine CRM data on accounts, opportunities, and activities
  • Articulate the Riviera value proposition and services to the decision-makers across PE and VC firms

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required) plus 2-3 years of experience
  • High degree of organization and the ability to work well independently; a self-starter/problem solver
  • Inherent interest and curiosity about technology, and what makes companies successful
  • A passion for persuasion, especially around complicated and intellectually challenging issues 
  • Superior verbal communication skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to remain highly productive in a fast changing environment where priorities shift 
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • A high level of fluency with Salesforce and Excel
  • A demonstrable sense of urgency and strong work ethic
