Michael is a product manager at Riviera Partners reporting directly to the COO. His role encompasses a variety of responsibilities drawing heavily on his experience in product management and driving growth in early stage companies. At Riviera, he will support both the revenue growth and technology plan/roadmap for the Contingency search practice.
Prior to Riviera Partners, Michael has worked in and around startups for over 8 years. He founded his first company at 19 and was invited to speak at Harvard Business School on social entrepreneurship at age 20. Over the next 6 years, he helped found 2 additional companies.
Michael’s first company was an education nonprofit focused on drop-out prevention in high schools with low graduation rates. Michael’s second company built enterprise collaboration software for global PR and marketing firms and Fortune 500 companies. His third company was Y-Combinator backed and created classroom teaching software for higher education.
Michael graduated with a BA in Economics from Boston University. Michael is a coffee addict, fitness enthusiast, amateur programmer and currently lives in San Francisco’s Mission District.
